Both the North Coast Small Business Resource Center and the Humboldt Area Foundation provide technical assistance to nonprofits.  These consist of workshops, individualized organizational counseling and certain projects.  In general, the NCSBRC provides assistance in businesslike pieces of nonprofit management, e.g., running a thrift store.  HAF consults in areas that are specific to nonprofit organizations, such as fund development.
